A15Mk1 Kit

The A15Mk1 is a two-channel 15W guitar tube amp with "american" sound, providing the following features:

	Two channels with independent volume and tone controls
	2x 6V6 power tubes (15W at 8 or 16 Ohm)
	Switchable Power Amp Filter (Smooth)
	Channel 1: american Brownface Sound
	Switchable Bass Boost (Fat)

Scope of Supply

The A15Mk1 contains all needed parts to build your own tube amp:

Tubes, sockets, PT and OT

Resistors, capacitors, potentiometers

switches, plug sockets, power cord, fuse holders and fuses

wire, cable, screws, solder lugs, boards and so on

Aluminium chassis (WxDxH 432 x 254 x 51 mm)

Detailed, comprehensive english documentation (electronically):

	Building instructions (sample) (27 pages)

	Layout plan (sample) (wiring scheme)
	Layout plan for the front panel (sample) (amphead or combo)

Additionally you will need the following parts:

	Knobs (for 6mm shaft)
	Enclosure/Cabinet (wooden top or combo)
	Speaker (8Ohm or 16Ohm, could be supplied by us)
	Front panel (design your own panel or order the standard panel from us)

Front Panel (optional)

Create your own front panel using the front panel designer from Schaeffer Apparatebau, a sample file is included with the kit.

A fully drilled and printed chassis is available for the A15Mk1 from now on. The chassis is made of black steel (burnt in), all holes for switches, tubes etc. are drilled/punched. The front and rear panel is printed with white color and equipped with four screw threads for mounting in a cabinet. Included with the deluxe option are high quality Alpha Pots with solder lugs and metal shaft (6,3mm). The pots are equipped with M8 bushings, so the deluxe option includes plastic reducers for the 10mm chassis holes. The picture shows two chassis (front and rear view).

When you order a A15Mk1, you may purchase speakers available from us for a special price (maximum 4 speakers per order).

Knobs

You may use any knobs, but please take care: Normal Chickenheads are too large for this front, please use smaller knobs only !
